Having been a keen hill walker in my university days I was a little surprised to realise that this was now some 25 years ago. Keen to dig out my old boots and try somewhere new but without the confidence of decades ago I contacted Trev for some moral support and technical advice for a guided walk to get back into the swing of things. A quick raid on Buachaille Etive Mòr was a fantastic first experience of the Glen Coe area. The views were spectacular and well worth the effort. Having an experienced guide with me was fantastic - the opportunity to brush up rusty navigation skills and experience digital OS Maps with someone who knew the area so well was fantastic. Trev lets you set the pace and is full of encouragement, knowledge and tips. A brilliant experience and one to be repeated!

Trev took myself and my three children (10, 11 & 13) up a Munro in Bridge of Orchy, because I knew he would motivate my teenagers, and lead the navigation when mine is a little rusty! Trev was inspirational for my children. They kept upbeat throughout, and battled on when heavy rain came down which would have been a showstopper had he not lead the group. His navigation tips for my eldest daughter who is doing Duke of Edinburgh where just right. I was able to relax and enjoy a walk without worrying about mist / midges / rain / navigation and we all had a nice time at the pub afterwards! I can’t wait for our next adventure with Trev.
