Trev
Hi, I’m Trev and, hopefully, I’ll be your guide up Ben Nevis, or another mountain. We might be spending 5-8 hours in the mountains together, so here’s a little bit about me.
I studied software engineering at Aberdeen University and worked as a developer / architect for over 20 years. For most of that, I ran a small software company. Around 2019, I decided that life was too short to work full-time, so I converted a campervan and travelled Europe & Scotland for a few years. My life is now a balance of working in the outdoors, freelance software, travel & blogging.
I swap the cold Scottish winters for exploring Europe, predominantly Spain, in my campervan. While I’m there, I dabble in mountain trekking, via ferrata and regional food & red wine.
I enjoy the health, fitness & wellbeing aspect of the outdoors. I’m slowly working my way through the Munros and particularly enjoy the challenge of multi-Munro routes with high-altitude camps.
Qualifications & Insurance
