Ben Nevis Group Hikes
A group hike is perfect if you’re unsure about tackling Ben Nevis on your own. Whether you’re travelling solo, a couple, or a small group, everyone is welcome. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people. After the hike, we’ll head to a pub to celebrate the summit!
Ben Nevis Group Hike Cost
£70 per person
If your group is bigger than three, a private booking may be a better option. If you have any questions, get in touch.

Ben Nevis Sunset Hikes: 2025
In September & October, when the sun sets before 8pm, we have the option of starting the hike later in the day. We’ll summit in daylight, then descend down the west facing zig zags while watching the sunset over the majestic Lochaber landscape. It’s a bucket list experience!
We’ll then descend the rest of the path in the dark with head torches, straight to the pub.
I’ll start taking bookings later in the year, in the meantime, contact me if you’re interested in a Ben Nevis night / sunset summit.
Should I Book A Group Hike?
With open hikes, we have a mixed group of people with varying fitness levels, mountain experience etc. We travel as a group and go at the pace of the slowest person, the group can’t split up.
We also make decisions as a group, which might not necessarily be the same decisions if you were on a private walk or walking solo e.g. we might not summit due to poor weather, injury etc.
If you’re trying to decide whether you should attempt it without a guide, or whether you’re fit enough, have a look at my Ben Nevis FAQs.
